We provide several programs and services to the citizens we serve. Disaster preparedness presentations, CERT and MyPi courses are the most popular programs. MyPi is the newest program that we offer. This program is directed toward youth ages 13-19. It encompasses disaster preparedness, taking care of yourself and your family immediately following a disaster and ends with a mock drill. Pamphlets and handouts are available for individuals.

Community Emergency Response Teams are designed for citizens to be trained to effectively be able to help each other during catastrophic events when emergency services may be overwhelmed or not able to reach the area due to damage to the area. CERT teams consist of trained citizens that have been trained in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. These teams can deploy and assist in our local jurisdiction to assit until emergency responders can get to the scene.
